| We are a Fanart group inspired by the works of Jim Henson and his companies. We welcome all varieties of Henson Fanart including photography, traditional media, digital media, artisan crafts, etc. Please follow the guidelines: Joining: *Anyone may Join the group. The more who share the passion, the better! Just click the Join group button.  Submitting to the Gallery: *You must be a member to submit! There's no limit on submissions, but please do not flood the folders. *Submit only your own art to the Gallery. If you want to share others' artwork, please submit it to the Favorites. *To submit a deviation, click on the gallery, find the category (gray horizontal panels) that your art applies to and click on the plus (+) sign in the top right corner of that category. It will ask you to either submit an existing deviation or submit a new one. *Please be respectful. We will accept all Fanart related to Jim Henson, except the following: -Let's keep this clean! No nudity, profanity or violence. Muppet parodies are excepted and guns might be part of a movie or show for the parody, but they will be subject to vote by administrators. -No official Henson images can be used in your art submissions including screen captures and photos that were not taken yourself (except for stamps,photos of Henson merchandise, and/or Henson Exhibits/statues) -You must submit to the folder you think your art best applies to in the gallery (specifications below). All submissions are subject to vote by the administrators. 2 out of 3 have to approve before it can go in the gallery.DO NOT SUBMIT TO THE FEATURED FOLDER OR YOUR SUBMISSION WILL BE DECLINED. The featured folder is currently being used to showcase project participants and monthly admin selections. Folders: *Jim Henson and Puppeteers- pictures that include one or more of the following: Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Juhl, David Goelz, Jerry Nelson, Brian Henson, Carroll Spinney. PLEASE NOTE: NO MUPPET PICS IN THIS FOLDER UNLESS THEY ARE SHOWN WITH A PUPPETEER! *Early Henson Puppets- This folder includes artwork of Henson's earliest characters (ie: Sam and friends, Wilkins and Wontkins, the Lachoy Dragon, etc.) *The Mupets- pictures that include any muppet who was in a Muppet Show or Muppet Movie, including obscure monsters, animals, etc. *Fraggle Rock- pictures that include one or more of the characters from the TV show, Fraggle Rock (ie: Doc, Sproket, Gorgs, Doozers, Fraggles, trash Heap). *Sesame Street- pictures that include one or more of the characters from the TV show, Sesame Street (ie: monsters, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, Snuffy, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Human actors). *Dinosaurs- pictures that include one or more of the characters from the TV show Dinosaurs (ie: Fran, Earl, Robbie, Charlene, Baby Sinclaire) * The Storyteller Series- Artwork for characters and scenes from the short-lived TV series, The Storyteller. This also includes the Greek Myths Storyteller Series. *The Jim Henson Hour Series- Artwork for characters and scenes from the short-lived TV series, The Jim Henson Hour. *The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Mirrormask folders are for artwork of characters or scenes from those movies. *Creature Shop- any artwork that includes a character made for film or TV in Jim Henson's Creature Shop that does not fit any of the other categories (ie: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wild Things, Yoda, Farscape aliens) *Cosplay- artwork that includes someone dressing up as one or more of the characters from the other categories. *Muppets at Disney Parks- Pictures of Jim Henson's characters, rides, stores, merchandise taken at Disney parks (ie: Muppet 3D fountain or signs, Muppet store, Muppets walking around) *Parodies and Crossovers- This folder includes crossover works between Jim Henson characters and characters from other universes (ie: Marvel, DC, etc). It also includes Muppets and other characters in parodies of TV shows, advertisements, movies (ie: movie poster for Twilight using Muppets as the characters). *OCs- Artwork which includes an original character created by the artist and inspired by the works of Jim Henson. (ie: Works of your friends as Fraggles, your own Muppet monster creation, etc.) *Literature- Any written works that include Henson characters and/or Henson related OCs. *Other Henson Art- If you don't see a category your piece fits into, put it here (ie: Dog City TV Show, the Wubulous World of Dr. Seuss, Bear in the Big Blue House) *Crafts- anything handmade that is not 2D art *Edibles and Wearables- pictures of items made to be eaten or worn *Toys and Merchandise- Showcasing pictures of official Henson merchandise and collections of such (not hand-made items) * Stamps- digital stamps (the only submissions that can contain official Henson production images.) *Submissions to the Gallery will be removed and members will be removed if the guidelines are not followed! *If you have any other questions about submissions, please ask! Favs: *If you would like to suggest a fav, please select the category you think it best fits in. Again, subject to vote by Admins. *Featured folder in favs is reserved for rotating themes chosen by admins. Please do not submit favs to the featured folder. They will be declined. Prompts and Contests: *We will offer prompts and contests! Members may make suggestions for such by sending a message to the group. Misc.: *This group is currently a "basic" DA group because the admins cannot afford to upgrade to "super", but if any members would like to help change the status, please send the admins a message regarding point donations.
